The Gospel of our salvation, planned and perfected by the triune God: Father, Son and Spirit. God chose to save us and has set his plan in motion to bring us all the way to perfection. The Son paid the price (redemption) for our sin so that we could be forgiven, and share in His inheritance. That inheritance is the whole twisted and broken will be restored as it rightly should be, under Jesus. Love and justice prevails, while guilt, shame and selfishness are banished; and we shall be part of it!
In fact, we are already part of it--in part! If you have heard and believed (trusted in) the Gospel of God choosing to save you by Jesus dying for your sin and guilt and being raised from the dead. If so, then you have already been saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit. By His indwelling, the Spirit works in you the first fruits of all we will one day experience.
A Christian's testimony is simple, although the names, places and details vary, the essence is this: God determined to intervene so that I heard the gospel and believed, trusting in Christ for forgiveness of my sin, thus being sealed in Christ by the Spirit who now lives in me and is working in my life new growth that will fit the coming eternal glory.
Maybe you'd like to briefly tell your salvation story in a comment below? Maybe tell some of the work the indwelling Spirit is doing, or what you pray He will do in you? Maybe, like Paul, just praise God for how He has blessed us in life with Him...

I am sitting here at my desk preparing for Growth Group tonight. After such a powerful service this morning, and mulling over this paggage, I keep having an overwhelming thought about how inadequate I am in relation to how all everything God is in sharing these vital truths. God has so wonderfully revealed himself to us and shown us how we could utilize the full wealth of His power to accomplish His will. How can you feel anything but challenged by that? I was reminded of a poem that we had to learn in grade school entitled, " I Said A Prayer for You Today" The poem ends with "But that you'd know His loving care, I prayed the most of all". I pray that through this week we will all seek to know Him so very much better and by knowing Him better will all seek to desire to serve Him more. Have a great and powerful week this week everyone.
Amen! Thanks for joining in Jack.
I am without explanation why such a perfect God, who created the universe would want to deal with a wretch like me. But He does, and I am grateful for that. Its hard to fathom how God could forgive my sins. But I am glad He did. I am glad that He is not human because He would surely have given up on me a long time ago if that were the case. I think about how life gets so busy and complicated and I find myself without the energy to see through the gloom... and when all else fails I ask Jesus for help and He clears the path. Why am I so stubborn? Why dont I save myself the trouble and go directly to Him. I think I will dedicate my tomorrow to doing just that.

Its amazing to me that God could love someone like me so much that He would do all this on my behalf. Thank You Jesus!!!!!
